About Tension Tamers
From your perspective, Tension Tamers might seem like just a massage salon. But for us, Tension Tamers is a family of beautiful people who have the same lust for life, eagerness to learn and of course, passion for massage. Our company values real connection, between everyone in our team but most importantly with our clients.
When it comes to selecting new members to our team, we have a certain standard. In our eyes, a great massage therapist needs to have an open, social and warm personality. They have to be great listeners, have the ability to really make a connection with the client and their body and be able to create a tailor made massage according to the wishes of the client.
Tension Tamers is not the new kid on the block. We’ve been around for twenty one years now. We believe that our success is fueled by our inner drive to grow & develop ourselves. Every one of us infuses their massage with knowledge gathered over the years; breathwork, bodywork, cupping, we all add it to the melting pot to create that special Tension Tamers sauce.

The Tension Tamers team is (in many ways) supported by Michiel & Jacklyn; the couple who once started the business. With all their unique qualities, they are the backbone of the company. Michiel as the visionary, the coach, the instigator and the most experienced massage therapist of us all. Jacklyn as an indispensable force. Her natural talent for structure combined with her management background is what keeps this company running smoothly.
Our aim is to maintain our focus on quality instead of quantity. It’s not our dream to grow bigger and bigger, but to keep on increasing the quality of our massages. We really want to make our customers happy. During the massage, but also every step on the way before ánd after the massage. If you ever feel we didn’t match our promise, please let us know!
